Assessment and Data Analysis Strategies for Administrators

This meeting will focus on preparing site- and district- level administrators to lead comprehensive benchmark and interim assessment development/selection and management activities. Also emphasized during this PD event, are protocols for examining student performance data for the purpose of instructional program decision-making including the development of flexible intervention programs.

Learning objectives for the day include:

  • Participants will engage in an easily replicable data analysis protocol for examining CST data.
  • Participants will examine and determine the merits and limitations of several assessments; comprehensive benchmarks and interim performance assessments – developed by districts, text publishers, and for-profit test makers.
  • Participants will learn the steps of facilitating 2-3 data analysis protocols aimed at leading staff to identify schoolwide, grade-, classroom-, and student-level instructional needs.
  • Participants will develop an understanding that data interpretation and resulting actions can be dependent on the quarter/trimester of the year.
  • Participants will examine/discuss examples of the development of actual site- and district-level assessment systems/program

Cancellation Policy: Registrations cancelled seven (7) working days or less prior to the workshop are assessed the full charge of the registration. If the registration is cancelled eight (8) to fifteen (15) working days prior to the workshop, a fifty percent charge is assessed. If the registration is cancelled sixteen (16) or more working days prior to the workshop, a full refund is given. RSDSS reserves the right to cancel or reschedule our trainings as necessary Non-cancelled No Shows will be invoiced for the full registration fee.
